Roca Verde 3A is the new version of Roca Verde 3 that was published in 2021. Due to high demand, Roca Verde 3 was almost sold out in just over a year, so Roca Verde 3A is a reprinted version, but with some small updates and corrections of some errors that appeared (most already corrected with stickers) in Roca Verde 3. (So it is important to note that if you have Roca Verde 3, there is no need to buy Roca Verde 3A since most of the updates are minor and only contain two new QR codes to download a couple of sectors already published on my website).
As usual in Roca Verde, the guide is very easy to use with detailed maps and clear instructions in Spanish and English to get to the sectors without getting lost. Once there, the sketches are clean and clear with a lot of information; There are lines of different colors for the routes of different grades, as well as symbols that indicate: the hours of sun and shade, the climbing style, how long the approach takes and the suitability of access for children. Plus, there are also plenty of great photos from the region's best photographers to accompany the sketches. These give an idea of each school and also serve to inspire you to visit!
So in Roca Verde 3A you have the best sectors of Asturias, Cantabria and León in a single volume: in total more than 80 different schools, more than 280 sectors and more than 4,500 routes. Additionally, there are another 20 schools, 50 sectors and more than 600 more routes ready to access and download via QR codes in the book, and all of this is also available on our website. In addition to all this, Roca Verde works with as many local outfitters as possible, only publishes new sectors where permission has been given and donates a lot of money for the equipment and maintenance of local schools.
