Designed to provide the right amount of flexibility and support, the upper fits the shape of the foot and retains its elasticity for a better fit. Chimera climbing shoes have a lace-up system to provide greater support in the middle of the foot. TPS midsole The Scarpa Chimera midsole features a TPS plastic insert that is placed under the forefoot to provide greater support. The insert ensures better finger support, improves traction capabilities and increases accuracy so you can really perform to the fullest. A power connection band has been used to transfer power from the toe to the heel. Vibram alone Developed with a single Vibram XS Grip 2, the Scarpa Chimera climbing shoes ensure maximum support. This specialized external sole allows you to focus your weight on the smallest fasteners and keeps your shape in difficult conditions. The XS Grip 2 can withstand repeated abuse in hot and cold weather conditions. The superior rigidity of this shoe is offset by adaptability and sensitivity.
