Ecological tableware and cutlery made with green energy and from Puugia Wood materials, the Finnish wood, later called Kareline® natural fiber composites.
Products are made from our natural fiber composite which favors the use of renewable energy sources. The wood for the material comes from certified forests in Finland. Both the products and the material are manufactured in Pyytivaara near Kontiolahti, Finland, using Ekoenergy. Did you know that we were one of the first companies in the world to start using green electricity? The wide operating temperature of the product (-30°C-100°C) together with the resistance of the material ensure a durable product for years to come. This also means a smaller carbon footprint. At end of life, products can be recycled, incinerated for thermal energy, or returned to the manufacturer for reuse. Kupilka's packaging is made from recycled cardboard that can be recycled or burned.
