The repair gains ground to the purchase
Throughout the climbing season, the climbing shoes often wear out over the toe and sole, losing their grip. Even so, it is illogical to have to buy new ones when the rest of the shoe is in perfect state. For this reason, the fact of being able to resole the climbing shoe allows to give a second, third and even fourth life to the climbing shoes.
The repair of climbing shoes is an increasingly widespread practice, especially for economic reasons given that a good climbing shoe costs between € 90 and € 140 - but also by continuing with a shoe that suits you well and it has streched to your foot. On the other hand, the idea of "repair rather than buy" responds to a philosophy against unnecessary consumption and towards environmental sustainability.
